We wake up every day with the opportunity to take our tourism to the next level. And yet every day we delay.
We get busy.
We wait for a good moment or more motivation.
We allow ourselves to become uncomfortable with change.
We argue that where we are is good enough.
In effect, we allowed the walls of our comfort zone to keep us in the same position.
The only problem with this approach is that the tourism landscape is changing so quickly that our comfort zone efforts will not keep you in business. You will slip backwards, get even busier and you will lose your current position.
Tourism customers now have higher expectations and can express their opinions about us through social media and on recommendation websites. This new tourism marketing reality called recommendation marketing punishes those who settle for the status quo.
It’s time to break out of your comfort zone and, not only to get ahead of the pack, but to feel the reward of developing your destination or product and how you present it in our disrupted tourism world.
